	Fairtrade Fortnight 2009 is February 23rd to March 8th World Fair Trade Day is 09/05/09 THE HISTORY OF FAIR PLAY DRAMA Fairtrade fortnight 2008 During Fairtrade Fornight 2008 February 25th till March 9th there were 6 Fair Play Drama performances across Great Britain, in schools, churches and at special events: to a total audience of around 950 - with cast, over 1000 people involved in the project. Fairplay drama is born 2007 The Pilot Project was undertaken in summer 2006 as part of ABC Drama Group's Festival of Ability. "Go Bananas" and "Wake up and smell the Coffee" were peformed to sell out audiences in the group's home town of Dumfries. Fairplay Drama was started by Cally Wight in an attempt to do something practical to raise awareness of Fair Trade issues.
